The Kingdom Of Tonga

I first combined transparent photographic images with painting and other media in 1993, in a work depicting the surface of a beach.
From 1995-97, after a two month tour of Tonga, Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii, 67 works were created in a process of capturing my feelings and responses to these places. 91 snapshots were used of over 800 taken.
